Quick post

I read a lot. Lots of books from lots of authors on lots of topics. This is other than the numerous blogs and comics I am almost addicted to. Did I mention short stories from all over the internetz. My only resentment is that I can't remember none of it. I have read numerous poems by great many urdu poets but never am I able to recollect a shaer at the right moment.

I hate, absolutely detest and am extremely jealous of people who can write blogs comparing philosophy of different writers. I am sure if I attempt to compare authors I will not remember even a single line from either of their texts. Am I reading too much or am I reading it all wrong?

Yesterday I decided to start another Murakami novel. I have read two other novels by him and few short stories. I can clearly say that I like his style. But if you ask me what his style might be, I would only be able to say that there are people talking to cats and dogs in his novels. The protagonist is a male on some surreal quest. Thats it. I can't even recall the storyline of a single story or novel.

I discussed this problem with a friend of mine and he said that I am lucky coz I can enjoy the same book like I'm reading it for the first time even if I am reading it again. I know its true and I have enjoyed reading some books three or four times but I don't want to re read books when there is so much more to read, so many authors I havent even heard about. By the way the said friend has near photographic memory :/

I hate people who can quote stuff when they want to. I absolutely detest them.

Anyways I have written this post on my phone and my thumb is sore. Also the stupid exam tomorrow morning. So Happy Holidays or whatever.
